This brave woman is 34 years old, originally from Chiapas- currently staying at Cuidad de Dios in Tijuana, Mexico.

After experiencing threats and the need to leave in order to protect herself, her marriage, and her four children, She emigrated to Cuidad de Dios after hearing about the refuge from a friend. She has found the Embajarados de Jesus shelter to be a comfortable and safe place, especially because of its focus on the Christian faith. She says she has learned to value a paco, or much of what you have- and family, which in her words is the ‘most important thing.’

She and her family are currently praying and waiting for an appointment to be able to move. They are trusting God’s timing and God’s plan in it all.

She is so grateful for those who have given her family the space to be safe as the wait for their future to unfold.
